Donations
Thankyou so much for considering a donation to our organisation that will change, improve and empower children and adults with a disability.
All donations are tax deductible as Interaction Disability Services Ltd is authorised under the Charitable Fundraising Act 1991 to fundraise for charitable purposes.
 

 
Your money, gifts and/or assistance will be used to help people with a disability in a variety of specialist programs that our organisation offers. Some of these include: Children and Adults Respite – providing ‘time out’ for parents and carers for people with disability who live at home; Community Options – Case Management (linking people to services) for a person with an disability whose needs cannot be met by mainstream Home and Community Care (HACC). This program may be able to subsidise these services such as transport; day programs etc. Provision of Supported Accommodation Services – giving people with a disability the necessary support to allow them to live and take control of their lives in a home of their own within the community.
 
There are a number of ways you can assist us help people with a disability.
1) Cash donations can be made via:
direct deposit of funds into our account (contact IDS to arrange)
sending a cheque - you can do this via bank or personal cheque.

  Please ensure your address is on the back of the cheque so that a receipt can be automatically generated and sent to you.
2) Donations in kind are most welcome. Please contact by phone to arrange for a visit to discuss your kind donation.
  Donations in kind may include:
Gifts of equipment - This may include plant, machinery such as computers, vehicles, office/home furniture, whitegoods, children’s play equipment; gifts for seasonal festivities – ie Christmas and Easter, for example toys and Easter eggs.
Granting of assistance through professional or non-professional volunteers or services.
 

These can include:
* direct support to people with a disability such as providing home help with cooking and cleaning or recreational help eg bushwalking, kayaking, dancing or help with budgeting, shopping and transport etc
* organisational support – we are often in need of people who can help people with a disability by providing services such as occasional assistance in: bookkeeping/accountancy; Information technology; corporate training; printing of flyers/brochures; electrician support; carpentry/ building maintenance; home/office cleaning; gardening; furniture removal/delivery etc.
