Interaction Disability Services Ltd offers flexible respite services for children and adults with a disability.
The respite services are designed to be flexible and provide a range of respite options. Each person with a disability chooses the respite option that best suits their individual needs within their home or in the community.
Respite Services recognizes the need to support families living with a disability.
We offer:
Before and after school care
In home support
Weekend activities
Peer support
The emphasis is on developing new skills while sharing and enjoying quality time with a professional carer, in or out of home.
Developing important skills for life:
communication
daily living skills
friendships
self care
food preparation
gross motor and fine motor skills
association through play
indoor and outdoor activities
 
One-to-one care is available, for children aged 5 to 16 years, and adults aged 16 to 65 with a disability.

Who is eligible ?
Children aged between 5 to 16 years, adults aged 16 to 65 years

Those who have medium or high support needs

Those who have a moderate to severe disability
Those who live in the Local Government Areas of Blacktown, Baulkham Hills, Auburn, Holroyd or Parramatta.
